Bringing Foreign Music to China

China Digital Licensing (Group) Limited has officially contracted exclusive agreements with two international record companies, Universal Music Group, Warner Music, and One Stop China Limited (established by Sony Music). China Digital Licensing will have the sole rights to their music content for 2 years. The group has also acquired the sole license from Avex, the largest record company in Asia Pacific, to provide Japanese music.

With these three deals, China Digital Licensing will be bringing English, Japanese and other foreign language songs to China. The music obtained from these licenses will be available through China Unicom’s music platform and Baidu Music.

China Digital Licensing will be working with China Unicom to provide fair, open and just managerial data for the copyright of the four record companies’ content through the leading professional copyright management technology of E-License Beijing Co., Ltd.
