i-craftsmen was selected by Woolworths, an Australian supermarket chain, to bring famous DreamWorks Heroes to life in their augmented reality marketing campaign. 42 characters, from the likes of Madagascar, Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and more, are rendered fully in 3D with dynamic and lifelike motions. All designs were created from scratch by i-Craftsmen’s experienced and dedicated team. All designs are fully endorsed by DreamWorks.
You can collect action cards through purchases at any Woolworths supermarket, which unlocks characters in augmented reality that you can take pictures with and share with all your friends and family. With over 200,000 downloads the app grabbed the top spot of the Australian App store in the kids and entertainment category, and 8th overall. The app’s success has spurred rival supermarket chains to create similar marketing campaigns.
