The investment in Yingde Gases traces back to May 2007 when NH assessed the huge growth potential of the Company in a unique industry.

Yingde Gases is a leading supplier of industrial gases in China providing on-site gas supply, retailed gas distribution and specialized production of industrial gases like oxygen, nitrogen, argon and other specialty gases.

On 8 Oct 2009, the company hosted its IPO in Hong Kong raising net proceeds of approximately HK$2.2 billion, 36 times their initial funding target. Yingde Gases was listed on the Hang Seng Composite Index until it was privatized in June 2017.
